Wonderful spot to bring your children, whether it's for just bringing them out to play and a picnic, or for inviting the whole neighborhood to have a party or get together. There is plenty of space, everyone will enjoy the scenery and comfort that Morrow's Meadow provides
We have went on walking and picnic dates here multiple times. It is a great, quiet, and pretty location. The pictured date, happened to be in a torrential downpour, but it was still fun non-the-less. The park has two smaller shelters, one large shelter, two playgrounds, and multiple areas with park benches and picnic tables. The white river borders most of the park. It is always well taken care of.
Great place for pets and walking, jogging etc. The playgrounds are mainly ment for 5th graders and below, the playgrounds might be a little boring for anyone above grade 5. It's right next to Pizza King so you could stop to grab something to eat after going to the park. Morrows Meadow is the home for the Yorktown track team. It lays right up against The White River, it's a good place to go canoeing but not to go fishing. It has a giant open grass area, great for playing sports such as kickball or baseball. Most of Yorktowns events are held at Morrows Meadow, one year the Colts held a fanfest here at Morrows Meadow. It's my favorite place when the 4th of July comes around. They hold a giant 4th of July festival that I go to every year. They have lots of thrilling rides and lots of food. When it's around 9:30-10:30 pm they light off an amazing firework show. They have a butterfly habitat that no one can go in but you can look at it. Following the path there are exercise stands which have different excersises to perform. Overall Morrows Meadow is a great place to excersise, walk or play with a pet. Taking young children to play, canoeing, eating and more!
Beautiful park! My wife and I have walked here several times and also took our Maternity photos here as it's very scenic. The path goes right past the river and they have a newly setup butterfly garden, and multiple playsets for the kids.
They have a really nice park with a large paved trail all the way around it. I go there every day to walk my dog. A nice and clean Park.
